Principal and Chief Executive Gower College Swansea & Director Novus Gower

Mark has been Principal and Chief Executive of Gower College Swansea since May 2013, having previously been Chief Executive of Bridgend College and therefore in total has now been a college Principal for 19 years.

Mark is both a qualified teacher and a qualified chartered accountant and has a Master's Degree in Educational Management. Prior to specialising in education, Mark worked in both public practice and in industry. He has also held other senior management positions in both Further Education (FE) and Higher Education institutions in both Wales and England.

In May 2013 Mark was appointed as the Chair of Colleges Wales - the association representing all the FE colleges and institutions in Wales - by his fellow FE Principals and held that position for 2 years.
